So I signed up for Skype, connected with my brother in Australia and…I can hear him fine but he can't hear me. It makes for some odd conversations with him talking and me furiously typing. Maybe I need one of these to fix the problem. Maybe I need one of these just because, I'm particularly partial to the pink.

Holiday

This week we spent some time on the central coast of California. We stayed at the Madonna Inn – hysterical – in San Luis Obispo and made day trips to Morro Bay, Pismo Beach and Cambria.





Some highlights included breakfast every morning at the Copper Café at the Madonna Inn, the Shell Shop in Morro Bay and some great thrifting.





If you ever in Cambria check out Birds of a Feather. It is a treasure trove of estate finds and notions, a really beautiful shop. I got some buttons and a little 1930's celluloid bear.
